Orientation
Be aware that all the major events of the 16th European Maya Conference will take place at the South Campus (Søndre Campus) of the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet) on the island of Amager, to the south of the inner city. The acronym for this campus is KUA (Copenhagen University Amager) is the common designation (close to Islands Brygge metro station). Thus, jumping into a taxi and asking to chauffeur to drive you “to the University” will actually not do the trick since the university is distributed across four campuses.
Additional receptions will take place within the city centre, including the launch reception at the Nationalmuseet (National Museum) (Frederiksholms Kanal 12, 1220 CPH K) and the closing party at the University’s Festsalen (Frue Plads 4, Indgang via Port A, 1168 København K).
